Chiang Rai Rajabhat University acknowledges the importance of the implementation of government policies under the 20-Year National Strategy; particularly, the concentration on combating corruption and misconduct, as well as the national reform planning with regard to preventing and eradicating corruption and misconduct for the Reform Activity No. 4 aiming at developing the Thai government’s system to be transparent and free from corruption as well as involving in the assessment of ethics and transparency within public sectors through the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA).

Chiang Rai Rajabhat University; hereby, announces the following guidelines of No Gift Policy which prohibits the acceptance of any type of gifts and gratuities in the performance of duties to prevent or reduce the chances of receiving goods and various forms of conflict of interests within the university as well as to raise awareness among staff members to decline and abstain from receiving all types of gifts and gratuities both before and after performing their duties for which the university aims to establish a strong and sustainable organizational culture of ethics and transparency.

1. Chiang Rai Rajabhat University is a public organization where all executives and staff members do not accept any gifts or gratuities in the performance of their duties, except for receiving assets or other benefits in a fair and ethical manner following the criteria and quantities prescribed by the Office of National Anti-Corruption Commission.

2. University personnel, individuals, and external organizations who wish to express their congratulations, goodwill messages, or request blessings from the university executives of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University on various occasions in line with traditional customs, the university graciously accepts expressions of congratulations, goodwill messages through verbal greetings, greeting cards, or online social media platforms, instead of giving or receiving gifts on such occasions.

3. The university executives and staff of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University will collaborate to cultivate a culture of integrity within the organization, instill a sense of conscience, develop a positive attitude, and uphold good values in the performance of their duties. They will fulfill their duties with fairness, honesty, integrity, transparency, and will be subject to high ethical standards, free from any form of corruption or misconduct.

Hence, this announcement is hereby made for acknowledgement and compliance.
